A pundit who writes one way in a column and talks another way on a microphone she thinks is dead.
UPDATE: Noonan has tried to explain why she hadn't written the thoughts she expressed when she thought the microphone was off. She says these thoughts hadn't occurred to her when she wrote her column; they arose subsequently during a conversation with Kay Bailey Hutchison. But Noonan does not explain how being with Hutchison took her from the view that the selection of Sarah Palin represents such "a danger to the left" that it needs to "kill" her, to the view that this was another case in which the Republicans are going to "blow it."
The problem, then, isn't that Noonan hadn't written the thoughts she expressed when she thought no one except "insiders" could hear them. The problem is th

I'll tell you what...a flip flopper who flip flops BOTH in Scanton and SF. That's John McCain for you...a man whose against a bill he himself authored.
Why do you name it "A BHO" moment? What is it that BHO does more than other people that he deserves a moment named after him? Show that you aren't just taking cheap shots.
dg, Messiah supporters are very sensitave how tho object of your affection is treated. My suggestion is 'grow a pair' otherwise as the next sixty days will be have you wimpering in the corner.
The BHO moment alluded to is the saying one thing in public [his panders in PA] and then in private [SFO clinging to religion and guns comment] quite another. Noonan was caught in a similar public/private dicodomy.
Please give evidence that BHO is an object of my affection. I'm much more anti repbulican than I am pro Obama. I was not a big fan of Bill Clinton and Obama seems like a Black Clinton to me. Your suggestion that I grow a pair is confusing to me because you completely mischaracterize both my feelings about Obama and my reaction to your post. My suggestion to you if you can't stand being questioned is that you as you put it "grow a pair."
My point above is that I wante dto know what you were talking about. It wouldn't seem logical to name something a BHO moment if the behavior you are describing is more characteristic of another person. Since I wasn't clear on what you were describing I asked you to describe it.
Now that you have described it I understand and I can think about whether or not it is true. I doubt that you are correct and I imagine that there is enough of this type of hte behavior in the last 8 years to completely overshadow BHO.
Take McCain for example. One moment he is talking to people calling wacky right wing pastors "Agents of intollerance." The next moment he is talking to those same pastors giving speaches at their universities and pandering for their support. He talks one way about war to one group, then makes bomb Iran jokes to another.
