PAUL, Minn. -- Police arrested several people who refused to disperse after an aborted anti-war march to the site of the Republican National Convention site on Thursday instead turned into a moving sit-in. Marchers tried to cross two different bridges leading from the state Capitol to the Xcel Energy Center, where John McCain was set to accept his party's nomination for president. But they were stopped by lines of police in gas masks and riot gear who blocked the bridges after the marchers' permit expired. No mention of Democrats.
The police state! Just what the Rethuglicans want.
